How do I register?

The automated system has been changed with your convenience and safety in mind. It’s easy to register; just follow the Telephone Banking menu options. You'll need the following information at hand:

  • Number of one of your FirstBank accounts.

  • Social Security number.

  • Date of birth.

Once you enter this information, you will be able to choose a 6 to 10 digit user number, as well as a secret 4-digit PIN number. Once you finish, you are ready to use the Telephone Banking system.

For further assistance, just press 0 to speak with a Customer Service representative.

What can I use as a user number?

The user number you choose must be from 6 to 10 digits long. You should use a number that’s easy to remember. However, for your security, we do not recommend the use of phone numbers, social security numbers or date of birth.

Which accounts can I access through Telephone Banking?

Telephone Banking allows you to access the same accounts you can access through Online Banking and Mobile Banking.

Can I make payments through Telephone Banking?

Yes. To make payments, you must register your payees through the Online Banking system at www.1firstbank.com, or with a customer service representative at 787.725.2511, or toll-free from anywhere in Puerto Rico at 1.866.695.2511.

Can I make payments through Telephone Banking with a Virgin Islands account?

At this time, our Telephone Banking bill payment service is available only in Puerto Rico.
