Among these are: Online Banking and Mobile Banking Security We have taken steps to provide you with the highest level of security for your account and personal information while you are using our Online Banking system. The following are tips on how you can further ensure your security: Passcode – Passcodes safeguard against unauthorized access to your online accounts. It should not be based on names of close relatives or pets, dictionary words, birthdates, or social security numbers. Do not write it down or share it with anyone to ensure the security of your account and personal information. For your own protection, do not share this information with Support Services or any representative of FirstBank. Security Verification Question/Answer – Security verification question and answer are used to verify your identity in the event that you forget your access ID and/or passcode, or for other security reasons. During the enrollment process, you were asked to select one or more security verification questions and answers to keep on the system. You may be required by the system to verify your identity by entering your Security Verification answer(s). Last Login – Located at the top of the Home page, Last Login is the last date and time you successfully logged in to the system. You should always check that it corresponds to the time and date of your last login. If you did not access the Online Banking system at the time and date listed, contact FirstBank immediately. Account Number Masking – Most account numbers are masked in Online Banking to show only the last several digits (*3336). This prevents someone nearby from surreptitiously observing full account numbers. For times when you do need to see a full account number, you can do so on the Accounts tab. Click More Details & Routing Numbers in the Quick Links for the account. In the More Details dialog box, use the Click to reveal link under Full Account Number to see the number. It is visible only as long as the More Details dialog box remains open. Logging Out Securely – It is extremely important to log out completely to ensure the security of your account and personal information. To log out securely: Click Log Out at the top of the page. The Login page appears.Close your browser. Frequently Asked QuestionsHow do I know that I am on a secure Internet site? There are several ways to check that a site is secure. Look at the site address; if it begins with https, instead of http, it is secure. Another way to check is to see if you have a padlock icon in your browser status bar or address bar. Double-click on this item to get more detailed security information. Can I change my passcode? Yes. Change your passcode as often as you like. However, we strongly suggest that you change your passcode immediately if you suspect it has been compromised. To change your passcode, click your name in the Welcome Center, then in the drop-down menu, click Change Passcode. How do I log out securely? To log out securely, do the following: Click Log Out at the top of the page. The Login page appears.Close your browser.What can I do to maximize security with the Online Banking system? There are two main practices you should follow to keep your information secure: Choose a good passcode, and do not share it with anyone. FirstBank's support services department does not need your passcode to assist you.Log out securely (by following the above instructions).Why is a secure message necessary? It is necessary to keep your personal and account information private. However, even in a secure message, never share your passcode. What is Last Login? Located to the left of the Print icon at the top of the Home tab, Last Login shows the most recent date and time when you successfully logged in to the system. You should check that the Last Login displayed is consistent with the date and time you last accessed Online Banking. If you are aware of a discrepancy, please contact FirstBank immediately. How can I change my Security Question and/or Answer? The Welcome Center menu provides a link to change your Security Question(s) and/or Answer(s). Click your name in the Welcome Center, and then in the drop-down menu, click Change Security Questions. Your current security question(s) are displayed. The answers(s) are initially hidden; click Show My Security Answers to display them. Click Edit Security Questions in the I want to menu to make changes.
